The events were held at the Holiday Inn Six Flags. The facility is interesting in its own right.  The original structure, a two story L-shaped barn built early in the 19th century with large timbers and handcrafted limestone walls up to 36 inches thick, still stands today, and serves as the center of the complex.  In 1834, a St. Louis veterinarian converted the barn into an up-to-date “horse hospital,” boarding stables, and a horse stock farm which bred many fine race horses.  The history of this site makes for an excellent location for an equine-focused event.

Dinner Auction Fundraiser Party

A dinner party and silent & live auctions were held in the evening, and much fun was had by all.  The evening event featured dinner, entertainment and horse and farm-oriented auction items as well as artwork, jewelry, trips, tickets and other enticing gift ideas.  Guests were also invited to the Speakers’ Reception before the party.

For a complete list of auction items (except for the late arrivals), have a look at the Dinner/Auction Program.

We want to thank our donors, sponsors, and all who attend for helping us raise money to help free the horse of laminitis.

The foundations’ fundraisers, horse shows and other events have always been activities for horses.  AHF is a volunteer organization and all proceeds of all events are used to fund equine laminitis research. The Animal Health Foundation’s goal is to Free the horse from laminitis.
